thisnewdayRIP, my brother. I fear that you soon may be joined in history's grave by this nation which is dying.
Though some might find it strange, I count you among the warrior/heroes who have gone before you, my father and my uncles, as well as my great grandfathers who defended the Union in the Civil War.
And I include, as well, that martyr of our own time and political persuasion, about whom the poet George Starbuck sang, Norman Morrison.
So sad that those heroes we have grieved are now gathered to mourn this nation we have lost...
