this will change

i was up at
3:15, this morning,
the only one in
the house
awake;

for a while, i
trawled the internet
looking for
signs of
life;

i found a few
and wondered
if they'd speak
if spoken
to;

later
i decided that,
no, i'm old and
they're still
alive,

both
of which will
change
with
time...
