not a lot, but
Jan. 4th, 2008 11:39 pmmy lone accomplishment this week, of a literary sort, was to transcribe a set of poems, originally done in 2003, into microsoft format and onto the memstick where i have my more recent "keepers."
the piece consists of seven poems collectively titled "love, suicide, and paris burning," along with a title page and quote from a song lyric by the jefferson airplane. while i was at it, i improved the title page, found a more suitable lyric - also by the airplane - and moved the dedication from one of the poems to its own page. (that way, the dedication is for the whole piece, not just one part of it.)
not a lot to have done, admittedly, but i'm happy with the results and even such small tasks can sometimes bring a sense of purposeful re-engagement with the craft of writing...
