Inevitable
Aug. 30th, 2009 08:33 amI have an LJ friend who's had a rough summer and I marvel at her strength in continuing to write about it.
I have another who's been ill, and hasn't been writing, and I worry about her.
Every day, I check on their journals to see what the news is, to see if there is news.
Other than that, I've made no effort in these and so many other things. It's not simply that I'm a bad friend. I'm that way with everything.
Lately, though, I have spent some of my uninvolved and less-than-productive-time rethinking my own life and how to live it.
But among the things that I think I've discovered is that none of this will seem like a very good excuse when all of the things still left undone come to their inevitable fruition...
