For the Present
Dec. 29th, 2020 01:42 pmThe contract plowing service had been down the driveway a couple of times earlier today, so I geared up, grabbed the battery pack out of the charger, and wheeled the electric snow blower out of the shed.
There wasn't a lot of snow and what there was wasn't very dense. So me and the little Toro made quick work of it. Still, it was well worth having the machine because it exponentially reduces the chance of the minor back injuries that have persisted after my retirement and even after surgery.
So I'm grateful to have it and grateful to be in a place that I can call my own and where I can live my life in whatever fashion I choose, at least for the present.
Hope everyone is safe, warm, and bearably content. And, like I said, at least for the present...
