I know, and I'm sorry about that. Things have taken a serious downturn here, also, with my grandson. I'm so up to my neck in it, right now, that I can't even talk about it. But I wish you well and hope that we're both able to weather this...

No problem as it has been that way here too. On a high note Anah's EEG was normal, ruling out seizure disorder. I was really worried about that.

I think we are a couple of tough old birds and we'll get through these hard times.

Walmart and the bead buying - oh, I can imagine the look on the workers face as he asked you what you WERE going to use the beads for if not conventional use. :) We have to take the funny where we can find it, yes?

Daughter through her surgery, major dental stuff, the first step... but she's alive and now on a trajectory to get past this and BE in the world again. I'm still concerned but trying to breathe a little bit too. What little energy I have has gone to her and the house falls apart and that is fine - I'd rather a live kid than a clean house and when it came down to this choice, the kid always wins.

I totally agree with your priorities--keeping everyone alive and well has gotta be at the top of the list, always.

And so it's really good to hear that everyone has finally made it through the dental surgery. I say everyone because I knew the waiting, compounded by the rescheduling, was taking a toll on you as well.

Which, for many of us here, is the common thread, our concern for children and grandchildren. So it's always good to hear that someone close to one of us has been gotten through one of those times.

Glad that this was one of those "times gotten through" for you and your family...
