I did a FB post for that day remembering my Dad who served in the Pacific and my two cousins who perished in Viet Nam. I was sad all day afterwards. Reading sbout the dumb ass in the white house made it worse. Been staying offline as much as possible, just makes the seasonal depression worse. Have you made bread? On my to do list for Turkey Day, makes a much better stuffing.

Yup, I've been doing pretty much the same. But taking heart, somewhat, in the women of the blue wave and praying they'll be able to turn it around.

But the ignorance and complacence and complicity that got us here, they're no small thing to be reckoned with and I truly hope that it's not too late.

In other news, I finally got my bread made and, while it's not the best tasting or most pleasingly textured, it's something I could live on and that, for the moment, is what I was looking for.

Hope the coming week brings better news and happier prospects for all of us...
