I've been up since well before daybreak prepping for my cardiac stress test in the hospital's nuclear imaging department as well as an evaluation, later in the day, with the cardiologist. All of this coming as a result of the misadventure which immediately followed my surgery a couple of months ago.

I'd set my alarm for 8 but decided, since I was already up for the bathroom, to get in a first/last meal before my appointment. That's at 11 AM and my instructions are "nothing to eat 5 hours prior to your appointment." So I hydrated, did meds, and ate breakfast--finishing before 6. Sorta.

I also told my grandson I'd drop him off at tutoring before I drove into the city. He's been having some problems getting up and getting there, even though it isn't until 10. I suspect all-night video games may have something to do with that. And I'm hoping that the prospect of his grandfather sitting in front of his mother's house laying on the car horn will enhance his efforts at punctuality.

Anyway, that's the day ahead. No treadmill at "Creaky Sneakers"--but they're gonna see if they can kill me with that at nuclear imaging, so we'll let them take their best shot.
