when a poem is finished

you always know
when a poem is finished,
when making it longer
isn't going to
make it better;

so why is it
that we can't see
that it's the same
when it's
about each other...

Yeah, I know the feeling. I think that, after while, it may have to do with maintaining what you have for the sake of others. And, yeah, not much romance in that...
