Like a ROCK!
Nov. 1st, 2021 04:25 pmTook my second ride and didn't freeze to death or break anything (on myself or the bike), went to Home Depot for some additional hardware for the table project, and then finished the lower backing panel.
And, DAMN, I couldn't believe it!
The backing behind the upper shelf had stiffened the legs quite a bit but, after I installed the lower shelf backing, the whole thing was like a ROCK! You could drive your dang Harley up on it to do an oil change if you had to, LOL.
Anyway, now on to the rest of it. I think the weather may be OK for the next couple of days, but progress in the shop means I can run the shop vac (it's actually a Rigid, hence the no caps) and get the place cleaned up enough that I can bring the bike down and not have to worry about missing my rides the next time the weather tanks...
