Really important...

thisnewdayIt's really important to me that anyone who's read past entries concerning our son's recent struggles, in parenting our grandson, also know that those issues seem to have resolved within weeks of, well, that's another story.
In fact, it's one that I've already penciled into my LJ compilation, The Generation Between, because, you know, who doesn't like happy endings, especially parents and grandparents whose own happiness is oftentimes tied to the success and happiness and well being of their kids and grandkids.
But for now, I just want to get it said, that NOTHING on this wide and wonderful earth could have made me happier than to see my son once again interacting with his little boy in the instinctively positive and nurturing way that made me, from the very beginning, so proud to be his parent.
So, Jay and Little Jay, I love you guys and may your futures be as happy as you've made me...
