Initially gratifying
Oct. 2nd, 2008 01:13 pmIt's raining in CNY today, so I did my walk on the treadmill. I did the routine manually because I haven't learned how to run the onboard programs. Which I'm not sure I would do anyway because, you know, on any given day, etc., etc.
Anyway, I did 3.2 miles in about 42 minutes and maintained my 133 BPM target heart rate at 4 MPH on a 10.5 degree incline. 4 MPH is about as fast as I can comfortably walk and so, since I can't run, have to increase the work load by raising the incline.
Two or three weeks ago, it took only 8 degrees of incline to reach my THR. BFD, right?
