thisnewdayThought about going down to the boulevard writers' group tonight. The one in Liverpool, Night Writers, is an intentionally safe venue whereas the boulevard group, at least for me, has an intriguing air of danger about it.
Truth is, you can hear really good stuff or absolute crap in either place. But the boulevard venue is much bigger and more open and the format has always been less constrained. Which lends, I think, a certain air of intimidation.
But, like I said, if you're one of those deluded geniuses, one place seems to be as good as another...
P.S. I didn't go. Too tired, I guess, to act on my delusions.
