need sleep
Dec. 13th, 2008 04:08 amfinally, a morning when i don't have to get up to take my son and/or daughter to work, pick my wife up from work, drop my grandson off at school. and i can't sleep anyway because of the damned lungs. don't know if it's the asthma/chronic bronchitis or a chest cold. but i wake up wheezing really badly and have taken the last two days off from my treadmill routine because of it.
i don't want to go back to the doctor because every time i do he wants to add another drug regimen. (he's wanted me to start on an inhaled steroid which suppresses asthma symptoms but causes a really nasty throat/mouth infection called "thrush" for which you then take an antibiotic which upsets the GI tract for which you then take... etc., etc., etc. you get the idea.)
anyway, i'm hoping that once i've used the inhaler and sat up for a while i'll be able to go back to sleep. otherwise, i'll be spending yet another day in the semi-exhausted state that i've been living in lately...
