When I woke up, this morning, little Jay was sitting on the edge of the bed. We said our good mornings and he turned on the TV, to Nickelodeon, of course.

Then he leaned his head close to mine and said, in his still-sleepy little voice, "You're the best poppa ever."

After that, how could you not have your very best day...

I know you know this, but I'm going to say it anyway. Little Jay is lucky to have a constant in his life - you. And yes, after that, how could you not have a WONDERFUL day.

As I commented to my wife afterward, I'm not so sure about my inclusion among the "best ever," but I'm sure grateful for all that he's been to me and this family...
