why "they" call it the "greatest generation" that implies no other generation can hope to strive for greatness. Sad, really. When I think of MY parents' "voices" over the years, I wish I had the rudeness and conversely self-respect to tell them they knew not of what they spoke. Thinking of two sets of in-laws, I would listen to some and, for the sake of harmony, ignore the rest.

Why does it seem that the generations coming after the "greatest" seem to have basically given up? I encounter so much apathy (while battling with my own!) that it's depressing.

So I suppose I should take a pill? and then another?
