Mystery Voice
Oct. 28th, 2018 02:26 pmListening to the SU radio station, on my way home from the store, I caught the tail-end of what I thought was a parody--and not a very good one--of Bob Dylan. Then the song ended and I realized that it had indeed been a very young Bob Dylan, from back in his accoustic days, singing "Tangled Up in Blue."
I was about to find another station when a different voice came on and started singing about the Darkhorse Bar and Grill. The lyrics were simple but compelling, again accompanied by accoustic guitar, and I listened through to the end of it, sitting in my driveway.
Gotta find out who that was, her voice a bit like Judy Collins but, like the "Dylan voice" before her, sounding very young--if it was Collins.
In any case, whoever she was, wherever she was from, she kicked his Minnesota ass, lol...
