This is one of my two absolute favorite dance videos. I know I've posted it before, thereby doubling my chances of having it taken down and being banned for life from YouTube, where it originates, and from my own journal.

But I just love it. I've loved dance since the time my two oldest girls were in the performing arts company at Lou Musa's Studio M, and that just hasn't gone away in all the years since.

And now, with digital technology, we have the chance to share such wonders as Jake Kodish's and Brian Friedman's performance, choreography, and video production on YouTube, and I just can't help myself. I'm just so grateful to them for sharing their own wonderful talents and for bringing together the amazing young artists seen here.

I love especially that the two of them set the stage with their own performances and I love, in this one, how Jake so casually slides into the background to watch his young performers and then joins them again at the end.

As an added bonus--which makes me laugh every time I watch this--the young Kaycee Rice, who teams so amazingly with Sean Lew in the last performance, is an absolute dead ringer for my grandson's little sister. Her smile, her hair, even the clothes she wears, just too funny. I've gotta make sure that the kids and their mom see this.
