What I'm Here for, Now
Nov. 22nd, 2020 08:45 pmToday, when I drove home from the store, I decided to start parking the car up beside the house, where it'll have to be for the plow to push the snow out the back of the driveway and into the yard. Because it's gonna happen, you know.
The snow will come down, throughout the night, and in the morning it'll be there. And the plow will have come and gone and the driveway will be cleared, from front to back, from street into backyard.
And then it'll be for me to walk out the side door and down the steps and over to the shed, which is also up next to the house, and fold down the ramp and roll out the snowblower to clear the rest away.
So that this life can go on in this new season. And so that I can be there for whoever needs me.
Because that's what I'm here for, now...
