Somehow OK

I used to feel that, if I could write just one more poem, which was in some way better than what I'd done before, that life, for that moment, would somehow be OK.

For the longest time, I seem to have forgotten that I'd ever felt that way. But for some reason I remembered it, felt it, again today...
