thisnewdayBeen listening to Pink Floyd, lately, and it's reminded me that there are several writing projects I could/should be working on, now that I have the time. Funny thing is, I didn't realize I had it. Time that is. I'm not working, my grandson is no longer here and, well, there's time.
Which is another PF lyric, but not the one that started me on this. That was "Learning to Fly," which has those amazing lines that sometimes read like a personal anthem: "There's no sensation to compare with this/ Suspended animation, a state of bliss..." Which I guess is sort of where I've been, lately, but need to break out of.
And, yeah, the "earth-bound misfit" part, that fits too...
