Thinking about writing a story called "Ed's Place" about a small, college-town diner where I occasionally ate as a senior English major living on Hamlet Street in Fredonia. The story will be fiction, but an English major living on Hamlet Street is something you can't--or shouldn't--make up, lol...

Thanks, E. I think focus is the main challenge for me these days, although life tends to provide many external challenges as well. Also have to find more of those Zen moments when, well, I become one with the idea. Which is, I suppose, the meaning of focus but also, to me, the moment it emerges into the material world. Anyway, that my jacked-up concept of it. Along with the notion of "letting" it happen rather than "making" it happen. Oh well, we'll see. Hope you're day has the promise of some good things in it for you. My daughter is down with some kind of respiratory bug, so I've gotta head for the horse farm, shortly, to pick up her oldest from riding lessons. And I'll send off that mega-text when able...L

I hear you on lack of focus, same thing here. I start something, focus fails and I lay it aside.

I think your concept is accurate, at least that's how it feels to me when I'm really "into" a project. Flow. Where has that gone, down the drain most days. But hey, we are great taxi drivers for kids.
