this friday,
i know
what i shall wear:
a pink floyd
commemorative shirt
from a concert
in london,
back in
the seventies;

this friday,
i know
what i shall wear:
a gift bought
from a cheap place
and chosen
not by the giver
but by myself;

(still, i haven't
a problem with that:
it will be light brown
with the trademark prism
and horizontal beam
of refracted light which
passes through it)

this friday,
i shall reflect
on my own seventies:
i'm closing quickly
on that decade
and, on that day,
will be a year
closer to them;

this friday,
i shall reflect
upon the light that
sometimes comes,
invisible and white,
and waits
for ones like us
to break it
into colors...
