What a Day!

Driven by inspiration, accomplished a breakthrough on one of my projects, picked my grandson up from school because he was sick (the seeing him part was good, the sickness part was not), and arrived back home in the middle of a snowstorm to find my new basement space heater had been delivered and was sitting near my front door.

I immediately got the new heater out of the box and set it up, after which I sanded and primed the newly-modified parts of my project. With the space heater in place, the finishing phase of my projects will go much quicker, not to mention being done in greater comfort. With the fast-drying primer I use, I should be able to put the first finish coat on the new parts this afternoon and then second coat the front side of the whole project tomorrow.

Once that dries, I can install the new leveling feet, slide the unit down to the floor in an upright position and two-coat the back. So the conclusion of the project is still a couple of days away but I'm now totally confident of a good outcome within a foreseeable timeframe. So Yaaayyy!

Now, I'm gonna grab a quick lunch and then head outside to shovel my sidewalk and driveway. Not Yaaayyy, lol. Hope everyone is having a good day...

Well hey, that's great, such a good feeling to complete a project. Glad we don't have snow. I am ready to get in the garden and out of the house

I know from experience that it's hard work, but lucky you! I've just read that we could be having these major snow storms here as late as early April! Even though I tried to sneak off to work on the tractor, whenever there was planting to be done, I think I'd be willing to do some now if it bought us warmer weather. Of course, it would have to be in raised planting beds because I don't bend so well these days, lol...
