This seems to be one of those mornings when I prefer to open the office blinds just enough to let in some light, but not enough to see what's outside...
Good guess, lol, but it hasn't gotten here yet and I'm willing to wait a bit! We have heard that there's another one on the way and you folks typically get hit a little before we do. A couple of inches, I guess I can take, but those wet, heavy, lake-effect monsters that sweep down across Lakes Erie and Ontario, those I can live without especially so late in the season...
The Endless Storms, my mind boggles. Is this a year of record number of bad storms? The heavy, wet stuff - we occasionally get that when we get snow, and the inch of ice underneath. We never have it long enough to have to shovel - the idea of endless days of snow/cold... shiver.
Yes, the East Coast has had 4 so-called Nor' Easters in 3 weeks and it's very late in the season for that. Fortunately for central New York State, it looks like the last one is staying to the south and west of us as it travels up the coast.
Which means DC, NYC and Philly, among the larger cities, will bear the brunt of it. What's really brutal is when we get hit with one of those systems in combination with our other major snow generator, Lake Ontario...
