thisnewdayFinally got the uppers in--I'd gone back to bed for a bit--and now I'm salivating like I've got a medium rare, filet mignon seductively steaming on a plate in front of me. Which I don't. I'm a looong ways from that, right now.
Just so much more in the mouth, especially at the palate, than what I'm used to. And I'd actually gotten used to it, a little, after having the denture in place over part of a day, then overnight and through the next day. Which is the way you're supposed to do it, the first day after the extractions.
Anyway, as my friend E points out, it's a process and I'm just gonna have to take it a steak, er, I mean a step at a time. While adjusting my expectations along the way. Obviously...
