Dinner and a Movie
Dec. 29th, 2019 09:56 pmMade a quick trip out, tonight, for copy paper and salad fixin's. Was supposed to drive into the city again to bring the grandson home from his dad's, but guess he decided to spend the night.
Went to Tar-jhay for the printer papier and while there perused the 5- to 10-dollar movies. Happened to spot a lone DVD of Casablanca for 5 bucks and, since I'd never watched it, brought it home.
Back at the house, made a salad and low-sodium dressing to go with the l-s chili left over from last night. Then sat down to dinner and a movie.
Here's lookin' at you, kid...

Date: 2019-12-30 04:01 pm (UTC)There were a few things that I wasn't quite certain of and I want to be sure, before I cite them as flaws in a classic film, that they're not simply gaping deficiencies in my own emotional makeup or intellectual development or both, lol.
Hope you and Bogie enjoy the weighted blanket...
