And so, overnight, "The Hideous White Stuff," as our friend Patrizia likes to call it, has arrived. Not a lot of it, not an accumulation, a mere dusting, really, but this morning,there it was, an eerie glow beyond the closed blinds which said, this season on the bike, for you, is over...

Yeah, I've read that too.

Am counting on it, in fact, to allow us to get the bike shed up on Wednesday and/or Thursday because my son and grandson bailed on me over the weekend when we were supposed to do it.

But, once they've thrown down any road salt, I'm not going to want to ride over it because I've already had the end-of-season cleaning and service done on the bike.

Yes, I do too. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to take this project on by myself. And, at my age, I'm not looking forward to that. It may be that it'll just be my son and I anyway because the kiddo does schoolwork during the week.

Of course, since it's distance-learning, he could easily work around that. I'm just not sure how motivated he is to do that and I, quite frankly--and sadly, can't be bothered with worrying about that now...

Thanks, I might think about that although my daughter does have a trusted connection within the family which I may also consider if it comes to that...
