Several Rains and a Long, Slow Pass

thisnewdayWhen I looked outside this morning, the light snow which had fallen overnight was already receding from the lawns and sidewalks and driveways.
But the streets and shoulders of the road were pure, unbroken, crystalline white.
With freezing temps last night, and over the past couple of days, the road crews had once again covered everything that's paved, including the entrance to my driveway, with calcium chloride.
Now, it'll take several rains and a long, slow pass by the highway sweeper to clear them off again.
And that much more time before I'll finally be able to ride outside on them, again...
