Before the Storm (?)

thisnewdayDrove out to Liverpool to return books that I won't be discussing at book club--more on that later, maybe, topped off the gas tank in the car, picked up chicken breasts, butter potatoes, frozen sweet corn, white onion, bacon, etc, to make chicken corn chowder for the next couple of days, and bought takeout dinner at the Core Life Eatery for tonight.
Also put the recycling in the covered bin outside so that I wouldn't have to unbury and open it after the massive storm expected to be unleashed upon us at any moment. After which I sharpened my hatchet to chop up the furniture I'll be breaking up to burn in the backyard fire pit when gas and electricity is cut off due to high winds, freezing rain, and drifting snow.
Also ran the dish washer one last time because, you know, don't want them to walk into a messy house when they come to recover my body next spring.
Guess that covers everything. If not, it probably won't matter, right?
