Somewhat Less

Decided to try a full day without the pain meds. It's been somewhat less fun than I might've hoped.

ONCE - after my first surgery (because I did not know better) I tried to be a big girl and postpone the meds that knocked me senseless...... big mistake. Because I had skipped that round, I was made to wait for the next one 4 eons (hours) later I was given my regular dose which the pain mocked .... and I had to wait another 4 eons (hours) for back-up.

Pain is only your friend when it alerts your body to a wrongness. After the warning, it inhibits healing ....

just saying, take 'em if you need 'em! That's what they are there for!
