Routine

It's late for a Saturday morning, but I'm gonna try to get in my walk and first set of stretches before doing anything else. Slept late because I woke up when my wife got back from the casino at 2:30 AM. I wonder if she realizes she's gambling more than her money these days. Or if knowing that would even matter to her.

Anyway, I'm gonna get dressed - the weather has been consistently cooler, as well as rainy - and see if the field is occupied with high school football or soccer. If it is, I'll have to stretch now and walk later.

After that, it's on to cleaning the house and maybe starting fall maintenance on the furnace, which I'm sure we'll be needing soon. After all, just because a house isn't a home doesn't mean it can't be warm...does it?

the song "the gambler" was always one of my favorites till i partnerned up (domestically) to a man who lost at least $15,000 a year at black jack...

he obviously never took the song to heart himself.

so good to hear from you. times change, people change, but there's a certain comfort in hearing a voice from times remembered as "better." who'd have thought it?
