The trickle down
Oct. 7th, 2008 09:21 pmI couldn't do it. I tried to watch the debate. But my body hurts and my heart aches and I just can't concentrate. It feels like the meltdown has "trickled down," from Wall Street to Main Street to my own front door.
So much so that it's infinitely easier to say who it is I'm gonna vote for than it is to say how I'm gonna fix the life of this little boy who's so unfairly burdened by self-centered and unthinking and immature parents.
Or how, for that matter, I'm going to fix my own...

on the other hand, i can name so many people, who by existing in my life, caused it to be immeasurably better.
this all seems trite in the face of it, i know. it's what everyone says.
