not so much. i mean, very little. ok, not at all. been working mainly on this wreck of a house, to get it ready for winter. and on this wreck of a body... to get it ready for winter.

welll, i guess the fun is in discovering that everyday i'm able to do a little bit more, that my limitations are a little bit less. and even if it hasn't yet opened any doors at least there's some light coming in the windows...

why would you take a bus to look at a lot of trees, when you could get out to commune w/ a few, and have the added advantage of touch, smell, and playing w/ oak helicopters...?
i guess that's why we's us and they's them.

i dunno. to prove a point, maybe? it's definitely gotten bizarre. maybe we've both figured out that it's time to admit our differences, to finally recognize the divergence of our lives, and this is her way of affirming that. or maybe it's just petty bullshit, amped to the max.

anyway, the next evening, when i had to pick her up at the casino, i swung by allen park and communed for a while with the ghosts of old friends stirring among the wind-blown leaves...
