Mar. 20th, 2013 11:29 pmThis is a test entry to determine whether using Google Chrome will solve the text entry and editing problems that I've had with my LiveJournal account since updating to Internet Explorer 10.
Basically, what was happening was (1) the menu of items available for editing was not re-sizing to fit my screen and (2) the visual editor would not allow me to start a new line of text by hitting "enter."
I queried LiveJournal about the problem, but failed to mention that I'd recently updated with IE 10. Oops, my bad!
But their answer, promptly given, was that this problem has been occurring on computers using IE 10 and that the solution, until a fix could be found, would be to switch to another Internet search engine such as Google.
So I did that and, voila, the problem is solved! So thanks, LJ! Thanks, Google! And Bub-bye IE 10...
