3.14 in 13:04
Aug. 13th, 2020 10:49 amOn my second ride, yesterday, I did 3.14 miles in 13 minutes and 4 seconds. A new personal best. Even though I'm not keeping track. And wouldn't brag about it if I were. LOL...

You believe me, right? OH, NO! I CAN SEE YOU ROLLING YOUR EYES AS YOU'RE READING THIS!
Other than that, I've finished the Neil Simon memoirs and have a plan for what I'm gonna read/view from his vast output of books, movies, etc. Decided on the so-called Brighton Beach Trilogy which includes "Brighton Beach Memoirs," "Biloxi Blues," and "Broadway Bound," and then his Pulitzer Prize winner, "Lost in Yonkers."
After that, I dunno. Maybe another bike ride or two. Hope you're having a good day...

Wow you are moving through some books. I just finished another by Isabel Allende and am sticking to love stories, trying to decide between The Thorn Birds(read long ago) and Anna Karenina, which I am embarrassed to say, I've never read.
Today I cleaned house...not fun.
Keep on truckin' or I should say pedaling. xoxo

Date: 2020-08-14 08:34 am (UTC)I want to read the trilogy in order of publication and the Amazon supplier who sourced "Brighton Beach Memoirs" for me somehow managed to send the wrong book. So I'm kinda stopped until the right one gets here.
Even though, like you, I have those dangerously unstable stacks on my bookcase and ottoman, I really don't want to get into anything else at the moment.
Oh, oh, oh, BTW, my book club at the library wants to restart in a couple of weeks and they want to use ZOOM. I told my librarian friend you'd been talking up ZOOM a bit and so I might try it!
