ah, we NEED those words to describe - and hopefully capture - what bits of magic we see, have, catch, share, and are given... before they pass from memory
and you have to believe, to make it so... remember the Star Trek episode where the greek gods had fled to outer space because the earthlings stopped believing in them and they faded...
and don't forget those Rascals - "Do you BELIEVE in magic?' Yes, yes I do.
i also believe that we sometimes have to work unbelievably hard in order to illuminate the magic that's sometimes to be found in our own and other people's lives...
"we sometimes have to work unbelievably hard to illuminate the magic" - does magic exist everywhere, in everyone? Or is it rare? Have some people so consistently denied magic and crushed it out of themselves? Once gone, can it come back? Can we find it when it's not there?
pondering that, because the "magic" usually slips away while trying to mine it in someone or self... chased away like butterflies - but if you sit still and sweetly enough, they will "light" on you...
my experience has been serendipitous - the magic is there for me to see if I make the time available... most often in comes to me unexpectedly - and a few times slams me in the head... a sudden enlightenment!
Am I just making my own magic?? Because I believe, thus it is so??
