Most times, when I'm going to the store, I park far enough out in the lot that I can drive through the first space of the facing rows and park, nose out, in the second.

It's just a lot easier to walk those extra steps than it is to park where I have to twist around, with my jacked-up neck and back, because I've taken one of the closer spaces where I have to back out when I'm ready to leave.

Anyway, having parked some distance out on this trip to Target, I had locked the doors and started down the aisle towards the store when I spotted this bumper sticker.

Now normally, when I see something that piques my interest like this, I read the rest of what's been stuck on the car--because there's usually more. And sometimes the others will provide context for the one that first caught my eye.

But today I was in kind of a hurry. I'd been held up earlier by appointments my landlady had made to get estimates on the installation of glass block windows in the basement. And you don't mess with this woman's schedule. Because she's very busy. And because she's my daughter.

So I'm hoofing it along towards the store when I spot this bumper sticker. And it says, quite succinctly,

NOT MY CIRCUS, NOT MY MONKIES.

And I immediately picture the Trump White House.

As I said, not really sure what the car's owner was thinking, but I feel pretty comfortable with my interpretation...
