Naw, don't think so, lol. And anyway, I used to blame my kids for keeping me up on the rock scene. Now, they're in their forties and my musical horizon is stuck in the '80s...

I missed the 80's totally and not only in music. 1985 I rediscovered the Grateful Dead, found Bob Marley and connected with the Rainbow Family of Living Light. "What a plunge..." deep into the counter culture, Take 2.

Daughter #2 was into hair bands and heavy metal so I got a taste of that. And now she listen to country, kinda blows my mind.

Hahaha, funny thing is I was just a couple years off the commune when our first daughter was born. She was kind of a fussy little kid, so I used to dance her around the house to the Stones, Pink Floyd, Electric Light Orchestra, etc, etc.

Then, when she got older, she and her future husband saw the eternal Mick Jagger at the Carrier Dome, the second coming of Pink Floyd up in Toronto, and listened to what was then new like Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Pearl Jam.

Now the only thing they listen to is the fire scanner because he's an investigator for the local fire district, lol...

I thought you had hippie roots, good to find I remembered correctly. A nice visual, you dancing your daughter to that great music.

All but one of my kids still go to concerts, and Tracy (daughter #2) is dating the bass player from a local band.

And I just don't feel right if I don't see some live reggae at least once a year.
